Sam Abdelrahman, Founder of HEAdesigns – The Knife Junkie Podcast Episode 276
The founder of HEAdesigns Sam Abdelrahman joins Bob “The Knife Junkie” DeMarco on episode 276 of The Knife Junkie Podcast.
Abdelrahman spent his childhood with stuffed pockets – from yo-yo to bazooka gum – but as he got older he had to decide what was most important to carry. And he has been keeping notes for years on what people value in their EDC and stepping in with his own designs to push the evolution of the product.
HEA just released the stylish EDC key organizer/carabiner called Anchor, which have been popping up in the feeds of Knife YouTubers. HEAdesigns also has collaborated with Boker Knives on a big production version of their seminal Hunter clip point front flipper.
HEAdesigns currently has partners in the U.S., Asia and Europe assisting to bring these creations to life. Many of projects touch multiple countries and facilities, and can take years to complete. All of HEA’s products are designed, prototyped, dialed in, QAed, and packaged here in the U.S. and they’re custom machined to HEA’s detailed specifications internationally.
